danish modern teak Hans Wegner dining chairs (4)

- A set of four danish teak dining chairs designed by Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen @ Son circa 1960. These chairs combine a beautiful sculpted teak frame with a soft and comfortable rope seat. The teak frame shows a nice deep patina that only comes with age over time. The beautifully curved back rest shows an exposed joint detail at the rear post. Beyond the aesthetic of these beauties, they are extremely solid and even more comfortable. Each chair is in pristine condition with no chips or blemishes. Beautiful condition!

- A pair of iconic and beautiful Eames for Herman Miller DCM (dining chair metal) chairs in teak. This matching pair is stamped c1954 and "DCM" on the under side of each seat rest. Molded teak wood seat and back rests set upon the large rubber shock mounts which secure to the solid core satin black metal frames. All hardware, shock mounts, and boot glides are in great condition with no issues. The teak finish, compared to the more typical walnut and ash wood finishes, are a more difficult to find as they were only done for a short time. Beautiful vintage condition!

The frame is made of a beautiful teak and the seat and back rest are covered in black vinyl covers. In mint condition, the form of these chairs are something to be admired. A delicate and strong design along with form and function is everything you would ever need from a chair. Minty condition!
